Rotie Cellars Syrah Northern Blend Walla Walla Valley 2016
*** POOF *** mind blown…
ROTIE. It’s a WILD, out-of-hand Last Bottle devotee favorite from way back, before they even started getting the FAT, wicked critical acclaim --- but because we’ve been fans for years, we scored a small batch of the new 95-POINT Northern Blend at by far the best price on this planet or any other! WOW! Not for the shy!!
Really, kids. Not for the shy. This may cause piloerection, cutis anserina, and horripilation (goosebumps) once you taste it --- just listen to what Jeb Dunnuck in his 95-point review said: “...this big, sexy, exotic effort just screams Syrah and is full-bodied, has terrific depth of fruit, polished tannins, and just overflowing amounts of character and charm.”
MASSIVE, rich and packed with Northern Rhone-styled Syrah -- the tapenade, the smoked meat, the pure, blackberry extract -- long and spicy and incredibly savory. WHOA!! Rotie is a winery that is on fire, so grab this at our superb price today -- who knows if we’ll ever see it again??!!
While it lasts…!
Sourced from The Rocks District in Walla Walla Valley, the 2016 Northern Blend expresses the savory and earthy terroir of its region. Violet and bacon fat, blackberries and pink peppercorn. On the palate, soft black fruits with velvety tannins and dark chocolate deliver a voluptuous and complex texture.

About The Producer
Rotie Cellars was born out of a desire to pay homage to the wines of the Rhône Valley. From the deep and complex Syrah-Viognier blends of the Northern Rhône, to the sultry GSM's of the South, the renowned region offers a wealth of inspiration. Since 2007, winemaker and owner Sean Boyd's goal has been to make traditional Rhône blends in Washington State. Boyd's winemaking philosophy is simple- combine old world winemaking techniques with the highest quality Rhône varietals that Washington has to offer. Boyd sources from some of the best and oldest vineyards in the state in an effort to showcase the most elegant blend possible, while ensuring the typicity of the fruit is expressed.
