CHAH-KUH-LEE!
TXAKOLI!
Belt it out with us!! Almost as fun to say as drink!! 92 POINTS, WAY over 50% OFF, killer cool-wind-in-the-breeze, mouth-watering, slam-dunk white for seafood from the cool northern coast of Spain!
Txakoli is all the rage with the cool kids right now and if you’ve been waiting to try it, there is NO BETTER time. Eleven bucks, 92 points, for real?? Yes! Primo’s vineyards are located in the beautiful Zarautz area (the winery was founded in 1953), between Bilbao and San Sebastien more or less, and this is CLASSIC. We’re very stoked to offer it! Pure, clean, racy, very slightly spritzy, and packed with truly mouth-watering acidity and lemon/lime freshness, this wine springs around your mouth like crazy, showing you bitter lemon, tart melon, almond...all in a light, piquant, salty-sea-air kind of way that just says: “let’s party”. Actually, it says: “Let’s RAGE”. Crazy quaffable.
We think it’s almost mandatory to have it with oysters, chilled shrimp, or some such, but hey, it’s just as zippy and fun poolside, beachside, inside, outside, upside and downside, too.
As it has a natural slight spritz (part of its irresistible charm), it is customary to pour it with a little OOOMPH to get the action going. Here’s a little vid to give you an idea, but as with all wines, do whatever you darn well want to.
Txakoli! Drink it all summer with unabashed elation! $11!! Gonna go FAST...
Young wine of pale yellow colour with greenish shades and golden
scintillation. Fragrance of great intensity reminding tropical fruit.
Under the brand of Txakoli Primo you will always enjoy a characteristic wine with a proper personality, be it white or rosé. A wine which surprises he who tastes it for its extraordinary relation quality/price.

About The Producer
In 1953, Andrés Echave Olascoaga bought a vineyard of one
hectare (10.000m2) located in the area called Unsain-Burua of Zarautz
and founded Txakoli Primo.
• From this time on, the elaboration of txakoli is started in the wine-cellar located in the Salbide district of Zarautz.
• In order to create the brand of his txakoli, Andrés Echave made use of his fathers name, José Primo Echave, popularly known as Primo.
• As the demand was steadily increasing, in 1995 the installations had to be transferred to the area of Abendaño Kalea, also in Zarautz, where you will find us today.
