~THE PRICE!! How do we do it? Don’t worry, just take advantage of it --- we only have a tiny bit!

~The Steffens family, owners of 7 & 8, are fanatical about quality -- wait until you taste this!!

~At 8 years old, this gorgeous wine still drinks like it’s 2 years old, and will continue to age for another decade or more, easy! So get a few extra while you can and drink it in 2028!!

Just a crazy deal, especially with the PRISTINE, perfect provenance. This drinks like a modern, on-the-pricey-side Bordeaux second growth. Tons of brilliantly pure boysenberry fruit, lead pencil, dark cocoa and luscious, spicy French oak, and it has impressive weight, power and structure (hey, it’s Spring Mountain!). Plush, masculine, long, spicy and just now coming into its drinking window (barely!). BUT!! BUT --- as you can imagine, there is very little of this --- please grab it while you can! Good luck!!

A complex bouquet of red cherry, cocoa, and framboise, intermixed with hints of tobacco, cocoa and graphite. A beautiful mid-palate rounds out a
fleshy and concentrated wine, followed by youthful, fine-grained silky tannins. This fantastic wine is already approachable now and will age beautifully over the next decade and more.

About The Producer

After a measured and patient search for a vineyard property in the Napa Valley, the Steffens Family ended their quest when they acquired a forty-acre property atop Spring Mountain. Planted in the early 1980’s to eight acres of each Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, the property met the family’s stringent requirements to sustainably grow premium grapes allowing them to craft wines with a true sense of place.

Founded in 1999 and named after proprietor Launny Steffens’ life and background in the world of finance with a theme encompassed by numerics, and a keen interest in numerology — “seven” being a number of luck in western culture, while “eight” follows the meanings of prosperity and happiness in eastern culture — Vineyard 7 & 8 is the culmination of the family’s pursuit for producing fine wines including Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
